We work from vectorised EPS files ideally, we can do artwork here and redraw untidy JPEGs and such files if necessary. The colours which make up your design are separated from each other and a screen made for each one.
Direct print to garment offers the ideal solution for a variety of complex designs including photos and certain logos.
Whilst not recommended for bulk orders, this method of printing can offer both a quality and cost effective solution for a variety of different projects including small variations from garment to garment and low quantity orders (typically less than 20).
Utilising our direct print to garment skills are ideal for a wide range of projects, including:
Customised T-Shirts – For producing sample printed shirts before going into full production.
Promotional Clothing – If you want to spread the word regarding your company or brand DTG printing can be perfect!
T–Shirt Design – If you just want one or a few shirts printed using your own ideas.
Offering Outstanding Finishes
Commonly used on garments such as t-shirts which are made of cotton or cotton blends, recent developments in direct print to garment technology has allowed us to attain superior performance on light coloured polyester and cotton/poly blends.
Whereas screen-printing is absolutely ideal for longer runs which require few colours, DTG printing the associated costs really begin to come into their own with short runs of colourful designs.
As is the case with screen-printing, prices for DTG printing come down for larger orders. DTG printing is quickest of all and jobs can sometimes be turned round in a couple of days.
How Does Direct to Print Garment Actually Work?
Essentially, DTG printers are bigger versions of the standard desktop inkjet printer which are commonly found in homes and offices throughout the country. The difference being that these specialist printers use a unique type of specifically formulated pigment ink which, when combined with a fusing agent ensures that, when the design has been printed and heat pressed on the garments, the fusing agent enables the inks to permanently adhere to the fibres of the fabric.
The outcome is a high quality, vibrant coloured print that is extremely durable and long lasting. So if you are worried about instant fading of your design, fear no more, as the inks have been developed and vigorously tested to prevent such problems occurring.

Saturday 9th December was a fantastic day for Fulham FC Foundation’s Official Charity Matchday as they raised more than £10,500 for their disability programmes in the community.
The PB Leisurewear team are very proud to have played a small part in helping this brilliant cause by donating some free t-shirts for this hugely worthwhile charity event
Fulham extended their most heartfelt thanks to the Club, Partners, volunteers, the First Team – including Denis Odoi and Lucas Piazon who helped with bucket collections – and of course, the Fulham Faithful, who not only donated their £1, but reserved their biggest cheers for the goals scored by our disability participants at half-time.
Your generous contributions will help us to reach more young people with disabilities, and provide them with life changing physical activity, sport, and education opportunities.

Our t-shirt printing takes place in house and as such we do not use third parties to fulfil your orders.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) can be any item of clothing which is either used by or worn by any person in order to help minimise a risk to their health or safety.
Please Note – Personal protective equipment is typically the least effective method of controlling H & S risks simply due to the fact that the equipment is designed to protect the user from the hazard rather than ensure that they are not exposed to the hazard in the first place. As such, personal protective equipment should only ever be considered to be a last resort.
What is PPE?
PPE is equipment that will protect the user against health or safety risks at work. It can include items such as safety helmets and hard hats, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear and safety harnesses. Hearing protection and respiratory protective equipment provided for most work situations are not covered by these Regulations because there are other more specific regulations that apply to them.
However, these items need to be compatible with any other PPE provided. Cycle helmets or crash helmets worn by employees on the roads are not covered by the Regulations. Motorcycle helmets are legally required under road traffic legislation. The Employment Act 1989 gives an exemption for turban-wearing Sikhs working on construction sites from the need to wear head protection.
What do the Regulations require?
Wherever there are risks to health and safety that cannot be adequately controlled in other ways, the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 require PPE to be supplied.
The Regulations also require that PPE is:
Properly assessed before use to make sure it is fit for purpose;
Maintained and stored properly;
Provided with instructions on how to use it safely;
Used correctly by employees.

Ask your supplier for advice on the types of PPE available and their suitability for different tasks. In some cases, you may need to get advice from specialists or from the PPE manufacturer. Another useful source of information is the British Safety Industry Federation (www. bsif.co.uk).
